Touching earth, I feel she is alive!
She gives us that much!
The power and traces of nature feed my inspiration.
-gleaming ice-sculptures
-syrupy lava
-grooves and fissures in rockeries
-colors and accents in minerals
-pebbles
-patterns in tree-bark
-bursts in dry soil
-moss
-tracks in sand
Caprice and depth, shape, structure and color, they release emotion. Together, they create the composition for my pictures and paintings.
Looking closer at the matter, I spot a lot of details.
By enlarging fragments I strengthen shapes by which I transform reality into abstract. For that reason my paintings are not always a matter of course.
